Yeah, that may be why he's selling them after "recently" reconing them with "upgraded voice coils". I'll bet they don't sound right with non Altec/GPA cones.... If I bought these I'd send the woofers straight to GPA to get them reconed back to spec......Originally Posted by Old Guy

Basically recone the woofs and change out the Symbiotiks, you could have a nice set of $600 speakers in near perfect shape. I'd do new tuned boxes and recap the xovers too.
